Grandview Heights

Grandview Heights is an up and coming neighbourhood that is growing at a rapid pace. There is a mix of single-family homes, luxury and family town-homes, and condos.

SCHOOLS

With this area rapidly expanding, a Grandview-area Secondary School is being designed for property in the center of the Grandview area, near 168 street and 25th avenue. The newly constructed Sunnyside Elementary is at the center of many of the developments that have gone up in Grandview. Pacific Heights Elementary is located in the Southeastern corner of the area. In the northeast corner of the area is Earl Marriott Secondary, home to the French Immersion program. Private schools near Grandview Heights are White Rock Christian Academy and Southridge which offer education for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

RECREATION

The new  Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre, which opened in March 2016, boasts a ten lane Olympic sized swimming pool, family and leisure pool, waterslide, diving towers, a weight room, and more. Grandview is also home to  Club 16, a 40,000 square foot facility. Redwood Park, just East of 176 street, provides a variety of walking trails and scenic forest views where you can see over 50 different varieties of trees collected from around the world. In the south of the area is the Peace Arch Provincial Park and Peace Arch Portal Golf Course.

SHOPPING AND RESTAURANTS

Grandview is host to a number of shopping centers. “The Shops” at Morgan Crossing and Grandview Corners offer shoppers a variety of shopping destinations as well as a Wal-Mart Supercentre, Home Depot, Best Buy, and The Brick nearby. This is where the community takes shape with well over 70 retail stores including upscale fashion and accessories, home furnishings, casual bistros, and restaurants making this is a unique outdoor shopping experience.
